On May 6th, 2022, around 6:25 p.m. Shreveport Police officers were called to the 2100 block of Grimmett Drive in reference to a shooting. Responding officers located a female suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The Shreveport Fire Department transported the victim to a local area hospital. The victim was able to provide information that Universal Sungod Allah (7-2-00) shot her while playing with a handgun. Allah fled before the police arrived.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit and CSI located the crime scene and began their investigation. They were then able to obtain a warrant for Universal Sungod Allah. Investigators advised that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Allah for one count of Illegal Use of a Weapon.
