Shreveport Police Need Your Help With A Repeat Burglar
Shreveport Police is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect connected to a series of burglaries and acts of vandalism.
The ThaiJap Asian Market, located at 1204 Shreveport-Barksdale Highway has been the target of these acts of burglary and vandalism.
Last week, the suspect broke in to the business and caused damage to the property. According to the business owners, this is the fourth burglary involving the location this year, and investigators believe the same person may be responsible for each incident.

Security camera footage captured during last week's burglary show the suspect attempting to conceal their identity by wearing gloves and a hood. Detectives noted the possible presence of a tattoo on the left side of the suspect’s neck.
Investigators say the suspect entered the store, immediately proceeded to the first aisle, stole several items, and then quickly exited the business.
The repeated theft and vandalism of this local business has caused major concern for the owners and surrounding community. Detectives are actively working to identify the individual responsible and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
From SPD:
"Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to these incidents is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tips can be submitted anonymously."
