Shreveport Police Arrest Woman for Attempted Murder

Last Thursday, Shreveport Police got reports of a shooting on Lomax Street.

When SPD pulled up to the scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Police and first responders worked hard to get the man to the hospital as quickly as possible. While the man was being taken to the hospital SPD Detectives got to work on the investigation.

After interviewing witnesses, and going over the scene, SPD were able to determine that the suspected shooter was Vernita Rambo. Police were able to locate Rambo, and she was arrested and charged with Attempted Second Degree Homicide.

As of today, the man who was shot is still hospitalized.
