Brutal Domestic Strangulation Leads to Arrest of Shreveport Man

Back in May Shreveport Police got a call about a domestic violence situation that happened in front of a young child.

The woman who called told SPD that the father of her child, Eudarrius Gooden, choked he until she lost consciousness. The woman woke up on the floor in a pool of blood, and she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

SPD started the investigation, and after going over all the evidence an arrest warrant was issued for Gooden on charges of Battery of a Dating Partner with Child Endangerment, Battery of a Dating Partner with Serious Bodily Injury, and Battery of a Dating Partner with Strangulation.

Earlier this week, SPD's Police Warrants Unit were finally able to catch up with Gooden and arrest him.
