Shreveport Man Arrested by SPD for April Shooting
A man connected to a shooting on Looney Street last month has been arrested by the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crime Unit.
Back in April SPD was called out to a shooting on Looney Street. When they showed up to the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound on his lower back. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment, and Police started their investigation.
Through interviews and other methods, Detectives were able to pinpoint Malcolm Hall as the suspected shooter. Hall was arrested for aggravated second-degree battery. While Hall was being processed, SPD found out that Hall was already facing pending drug charges.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to holding violent offenders accountable and ensuring the safety of our communities."
