Do you have a geek, nerd, or sci-fi fan on your holiday shopping list? Then we have great news for you!

This weekend is Shreve Con (formerly known as the Shreveport Geek Fair) at Centenary College in Shreveport. It's a comic con mixed with a maker's fair. The event features geek-oriented vendors and crafters, as well as guests from the comic book industry, pro cosplayers, and more!

The show is 10am-6:30pm both Saturday and Sunday in the Centenary Fitness Center on the campus of Centenary College. Tickets are available in advance, or at the door.

This year's event will feature Marvel Comics artist Sam de la Rosa, Joshua Monroe from SyFy's Cosplay Melee, as well as other pro-cosplayers, authors, and more!

There will also be a lot of cosplay and contests, but most importantly, there will be plenty of shopping for that "hard to buy for" geek on your shopping list. Things that you can't find in a big box store, or on a website with free shipping. Hand-made gifts, geeky gifts, and a ton of other gift options will all be available in one spot, all weekend.

Make sure you carve out some time, and get you geek holiday shopping done this weekend in Shreveport, with Shreve Con!
