The countdown for the next major pop culture gathering in North Louisiana has officially started. Geek'd Con: Part XI is scheduled to take over the Shreveport Convention Center from August 14th through 16th, 2026. This mark's the 11th year the event has occupied the downtown venue for a weekend of fandom.

Vendor applications are now live at ShreveportGeeks.com for those looking to secure their spot on the floor. While the guest list remains under wraps and ticket sales haven't launched, the early window allows small businesses to plan their convention circuit well in advance.

Geek'd Con Vendor Booth Deposits and Payment Plans

Securing a booth doesn't require the full payment upfront this early in the year. Potential exhibitors can place a deposit now to lock in their location before the floor plan fills up. The remaining balance for the space isn't due until July, offering a bit of financial breathing room for local creators and retailers.

Historically, these spaces move quickly as the event approaches its summer dates. Signing up early ensures that vendors don't miss out on the thousands of fans expected to walk the aisles. The convenience of a payment plan makes it easier for independent artists to participate in the massive weekend.

Impact of North Louisiana's Largest Comic Con

Over the last decade, this event has grown into a significant economic driver for the region. Previous years have seen the convention generates an annual economic impact exceeding $2.2 million for the local area. Attendance regularly draws over 10,000 fans, with peak years reaching more than 20,000 attendees over three days.

The show has a history of hosting massive names ranging from Kevin Smith to Alice Cooper, Michael Rooker to Matthew Lillard, LeVar Burton to Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson. There have been some amazing reunions at the event too, like last year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 35th anniversary Shell-a-Bration, or the to Steven Universe reunion from a few years ago. There have been Pro Football Hall of Fame members to WWE Hall of Famers all at the event as well.

With a decade of growth in the books, the 2026 edition looks to continue the tradition of bringing Hollywood to the Ark-La-Tex.

History Of Geek'd Con Guests

Geek'd Con is Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event. Launching in 2015, the event quickly became one of the premiere comic con style events in the entire state of Louisiana.

A big part of that growth has been the celebrity guest lineups. Since the first show in 2015, the quality of guests attending Geek'd Con rivals any pop culture event of this size. From classic Star Wars stars to guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Geek'd Con has welcomed the biggest names from multiple generations.

Because there have been SO MANY guests since 2015, we can include all of them here. This is just a look at the history of guests at Geek'd Con.
