Several Injured In Auto Accident Including Three Children

An automobile accident in Caddo Parish leaves several people injured, including three children all under the age of 12 years old.

Caddo Sheriff's deputies responded to the accident Tuesday morning on Hwy. 1 south near the Caddo-Bossier Port.

CPSO Patrol Sgt. Carl Henderson said a Dodge pickup was traveling southbound around 7:30 a.m. when its driver turned into the Port in front of a northbound Silverado truck.

The driver of the Dodge was identified as 29-year-old Brittany Motley of Keithville. Also in the vehicle were 26-year-old Jared Berry of Keithville and three juveniles ages 7, 9, and 11. All occupants were taken to University Health.

The driver of the Silverado truck was identified as Elizabeth Ross of Coushatta. She was taken to Willis-Knighton Pierremont for treatment.

The accident is under investigation by the CPSO Traffic Safety Unit.
