America’s Truth Detector doesn’t equivocate. “I’m telling you he doesn’t have the courage to lead! I don’t think he thinks he needs to lead," says Limbaugh about President Barack Obama.

Limbaugh observes Obama, or as he likes to call him the perennial “Campaigner in Chief,” seems to believe that “everybody on the republican side is insulting his mother, wife, kids and him” over nothing other than what is even by political standards “mild criticism” concerning his policies.

In the estimation of the Most Powerful Man in America, “… (Obama) is…succeeding beyond his wildest dreams (in)…eliminating all opposition.” He is, because of the afore noted insults, “in the process of destroying…GOP senators (republicans) waiting for the president’s outreach.” El Rushbo adds that Obama is not going to reach out to them. Hence, the assessment the president hasn’t the courage to lead.

The actual rub has to do with impending sequestration that is never supposed to happen. It appears the president stepped over the bound of propriety in an address regarding inability of the parties to reach an agreement to avert the process from going into effect.

Rush cites a portion of the address delivered at the Eisenhower Executive Office building:

OBAMA: Emergency responders’…ability to help communities respond to and recover from disasters will be degraded. Border Patrol agents will see their hours reduced. FBI agents will be furloughed. Federal prosecutors will have to close cases and let criminals go. Air traffic controllers and airport security will see cutbacks... teachers and educators will be laid off. …parents will have to scramble to find child care… Americans will lose access to primary care and preventive care like flu vaccinations and cancer screenings. This is not an abstraction. People will lose their jobs. The unemployment rate might tick up again.”

Rush adjudges the president’s tone as un-presidential, irresponsible, defamatory, untrue and hideous to “convey the notion that without government…the only way that anything that’s any good (in this country) can happen is if Obama is running the government.”

The Dean of the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies drives home the point of his lesson that the president is “…constantly campaigning…the gladiator fighting against…evil…unnamed people (like the earlier mentioned republicans) …trying to screw you out of everything. …the irony is… (he’s) setting the stage for a new depression which will make the current economic problems look tame…he is not governing… He doesn't have the courage to actually lead.”
