Lt. Bill Wright was in the United States Army Air Corp from 1939 until late 1945, serving as an instructor for the small, transport glider. RJW tells, in detail, about his dad's two glider crashes and how Lt. Bill, like so many of that generation, spent a number of years at a military job that required special training, dedication and bravery.
