Rep. John Fleming Supports ‘No More Solyndras Act’

U.S. Congressman John Fleming, of Minden, has released a statement after voting for the "No More Solyndras Act."  Fleming says n his news release that "taxpayers were left on the hook for half a billion dollars after the Obama administration rushed to give loan guarantees to Solyndra, a solar panel company that went bankrupt."

Fleming says,"this legislation will stop the energy department from going forward with its failed loan guarantee program."

The president's green jobs agenda, Fleming says, has been a waste of taxpayer dollars. "And today's vote is a step toward stopping that waste."

Fleming is also a physician and small business owner and represents the 4th Congressional District of Louisiana.

He is Chairman of the National Resources Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife, Oceans and is  a member of the House Armed Services Committee.
