Red River Crest Now Raised Above 37 Feet
The Red River is now expected to crest above 37 feet in Shreveport, according to the National Weather Service's Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service's latest observation as of 4PM today.
The NWS adjustment puts the local Red River crest level at 37.02, which is higher than their last forecast on Sunday at 37 feet. The latest forecast also marks the fourth time the crest has been raised since last Monday, June 1.
