Pro Fisherman Mark Rose to Speak at Summer Grove Banquet

As a Christian and outdoorsman, one of the events I most look forward to each year (besides opening day of deer season) is the annual Sportsman's Night Out at Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport.

In keeping with the church's tradition of bringing in well known, Christian celebrities, to speak and share their testimonies, this year they'll have Major League Fishing professional angler Mark Rose!

Though the event is for men and boys only, much like Mark's website states, it will be a night of "Faith, Family and Fishing."

Summer Grove's Sportsman's Night Out is slated to begin at 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 26 at Summer Grove Baptist Church in the old South Park Mall at 8924 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport.

Along with an incredible meal of fried catfish with all the fixings, they plan to give away lots of guns, coolers, a guided bass fishing trip on Lake Fork from Johnny Guice and so much more.
