President Targets Barksdale’s A-10s

A proposal today from the White House is not setting well with Fourth District Louisiana Congressman John Fleming. Doctor Fleming says the administration intends to propose in its fiscal year 2013 budget request the elimination of 24 A-10C aircraft that make up the Air Force Reserve's 917th Fighter Group at Barksdale. Fleming says, as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, he'll be working throughout this year's budget process to make the case for strong defenses.
