The Shreveport Police Department is on the look out for a suspected murderer. Antonio Johnson (pictured above) is the man suspected to be responsible for the Wednesday shooting death of a Shreveport man.

On Wednesday, May 27th just after 2:00 p.m. Shreveport Police officers were called to the scene of a shooting on Centenary Boulevard. It was at the scene police discovered 28 year old Travarrius Adams sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Adams was rushed to Ochners LSU Health where he later passed away from his injuries.

Violent Crimes and CSI Investigators arrived at the scene and launched an  investigation in to the tragic murder. The investigators determined that two cars had pulled along-side each other in the parking lot of the apartment complex, when gunfire erupted and Adams was killed.

After speaking to witnesses and procuring video-surveillance evidence from the scene, investigators were able to identify 25 year old Antonio Johnson as the person responsible for the deadly shooting.  A warrant was issued charging Johnson with one count of Second Degree Murder. Bond was set at $150,000.00. No further investigative details are being released at this time. Johnson has addresses in the 6500 block of Fairfield Avenue and the 2700 block of Myrtle Street.
