Shreveport police have arrested a man in connection with an overnight shooting that left another man dead. Just before 8:45 last night, officers got a call about a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway in the 3500 block of Twilight Lane in Shreveport's Twilight Meadows subdivision. There, officers found 54-year-old Ray Williams of Shreveport in the driver's seat, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head. Detectives were able to develop a suspect, and several hours after the shooting, 41-year-old Byron Lloyd surrendered to police. At the moment, detectives believe Williams and Lloyd were in some type of dispute, which ended with Lloyd shooting Williams. Lloyd was arrested on one count of manslaughter.
