East Bank’s Streetcar Station Makes Birthday Magic Happen

I love finding new places. There is no doubt Bossier City is on the grow. It's been a long time since I've been to a birthday party for a little boy. But I got the chance to do that this weekend. My friend's grandson Hudson just turned 8 and he was having a pretty cool party with his friends.

Where Was the Party

The party was at the Streetcar Station in the East Bank District in Bossier. This was the first I've heard about this place, but it's really cool and the youngsters were having a blast. We always say we need more things for young people to do. Well, this spot is a great example of that.

What Is the Streetcar Station

This is a fun party place where youngsters can go inside the Swamp and shoot each other with nerf guns. There are lots of obstacles and places to hide inside the course. The youngsters were having a blast. The nerf course is fun, but the kids also have a blast making their own snowballs. They get the ice in a cup and they can then put the flavors on top to create their own special flavor.

What Makes Streetcar Station Special

The snowballs are the New Orleans style which are quite unique and tasty. This spot also serves ice cream including New Orleans bread pudding ice cream and the praline ice cream which I tried. It was really tasty.

Streetcar Station also lets you bring in outside food. So, my friends brought in pizza for the kiddos to enjoy. The party guests get to play in the nerf course for about an hour and then they move to eating (if you bring your own) and then they get to do the snow cones.

Take a look at this place. The Streetcar Station is located at 409 Barksdale Boulevard. It's not just for parties. You can stop in and grab a traditional New Orleans treat after a good meal at one of the restaurants in the East Bank District.
