Italian authorities are holding the captain of the Costa Concordia, after the cruise ship was ripped open when it hit a reef. It was carrying 4,200 passengers -- and many of those passengers are saying evacuating was next to impossible. They say they weren't told that the ship hit anything. Instead, they were told over the PA system that there was an electrical problem, and it was under control. The captain of the ship could face twelve years in jail on the charge of abandoning ship.

Campaign sources connected with Jon Huntsman are saying the former Utah governor plans to drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Despite a third-place finish in the recent New Hampshire primary, which reinvigorated his campaign, dwindling funds and poor poll numbers in South Carolina are forcing Huntsman out of the race. Huntsman plans to officially bow out of the race today and endorse Mitt Romney.

Ron Paul's campaignis getting a boost. South Carolina State Senator Tom Davis, a Tea Party favorite, endorsed the Texas congressman yesterday at a rally in Myrtle Beach. Paul placed second in the New Hampshire primary.

Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich is challenging frontrunner Mitt Romney to release his tax forms. Gingrich says he's ready to release his own returns this week. A spokesperson for the Romney campaign says the group will consider releasing his returns during the next tax filing season. Romney's camp is also lashing out against Gingrich for not disclosing records about his work for mortgage giant Freddie Mac.

A Little League ball park that was considered one of the best in the midwest was ripped apart last spring by a twister. But now, the park in Joplin, Missouri, is geting a new life, thanks to a donation from the the Kansas City Greenwood Sports Association. Chad Curry, President of the Joplin South Little League, says the group is hoping to make the Joplin park the gem it used to be. The team now has new baseballs, softball helmets, new bases and homeplate, along with a popcorn machine.
