Murder Cases in Caddo District Court

Another busy day in Caddo District Court...with several murder cases on the docket today. 60-year-old Harold Free was in court obtaining counsel on a second-degree murder charge. He's accused of the shooting death of his stepson, Terry Johniken, at a residence in the 6700 block of Jefferson Paige Road. 22-year-old Joshua Parker was scheduled for further proceedings for first-degree murder for the June 2009 shooting death of Phillip Livigni in the 9900 block of Smitherman. Investigators say Livigni was killed during a robbery. Parker has a trial date set for July 25th. And 25-year-old Jerome Thompson was set for arguments and hearings, plus a ruling on a motion. He's charged with second-degree murder for the August 2009 shooting death of Tremaine Perkins during an altercation in the 4200 block of Lakeshore Drive.
