More Northwest Louisiana Red Cross Volunteers Deployed to Help with Irene Aftermath
For the third time in a week, volunteers from the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross are deploying to help with Hurricane Irene recovery efforts. This morning, Rob Blackmon of Shreveport and Rick van Loon of Ruston flew out of Monroe, headed to Tinton Falls, New Jersey. They'll be working in the Mass Care function of Disaster Services. They join five other locals who headed out earlier this week. Three of them are in North Carolina, and two in Virginia.
