More Local Red Cross Volunteers Deployed to Virginia

Two more volunteers from the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross are headed to Richmond, Virginia, to work as Client Casework Supervisors. Jean Lanier and Lisa Marie Griffin, both of Bossier City, left late yesterday afternoon to join three other volunteers from our area who deployed from Shreveport and Monroe last week. The group is working as part of the disaster response for hurricane Irene's aftermath.
