If you're up before the sun Wednesday morning and are lucky enough to have clear skies (Shreveport - Bossier Should be partly cloudy), take a look skyward!  The Eta Aquarid meteor shower will be visible, with between 10 to 30 shooting stars visible per hour.

The annual meteor shower is should peak about 8am, but folks in our area should be able to spot the early part of the show, from about 4am til sunrise.

In fact, say astronomers, the pre-dawn hours are the best for viewing the Eta Aquarid. And they add that like all meteor showers and night sky events, you’ll see more if you're clear of pollution and city lights..
