The Many Police Department is having difficulties putting together enough evidence to press charges against those who shoplifted the Many Walmart on October 12th during the EBT glitch.

In a Facebook posting, the Many Police Department says it commends Senator David Vitter's efforts to punish those who abused the EBT system.

However, the Many Police Department has not been able to get surveillance photos from Walmart that show the suspects shoplifting and are now turning their efforts to the Department of Children and Family Services.  Officials are seeking records of excessive purchases on EBT cards from that date.

Officials say if they can't get that info from DCFS, they are "handicapped" in what they can do to seek justice.
