One man is found shot to death in a Shreveport neighborhood. Officers were called to a home on Marion Street in the Queensborough neighborhood just after 9pm Wednesday night. The victim was found dead in the street. He had more than one gunshot wound to his upper body. Detectives are investigating the case as a murder. Officers do have preliminary information about a possible suspect and they are continuing to gather evidence. No details have been released about the motive of this latest fatal shooting.

There have been more than 20 murders in Shreveport so far for 2021 and that puts the city on pace to break record numbers of homicides from the early 1990's.
