Man Dies in Wreck Near Vivian

One person has died after a car hit a house last evening. Caddo sheriff's deputies say 29-year-old Johnny Johnson was driving his SUV south on Boyter Lane, where he lives, when he lost control in a curve at Monterrey School Road, hit some mailboxes, went through two fences and hit a tree. Then he hit a house, knocking off the front porch. No one was home at the time, but Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies are still investigating what caused the crash.
