Man Arrested for Bossier City Vehicle Burglaries

A surveillance operation by Bossier City detectives has led to the arrest of a man suspected of committing multiple vehicle burglaries at a local car dealership.  

37-year-old Charles Dewayne Blue was nabbed after detectives spotted him entering a vehicle that was parked in a secured area outside the Landers Dodge repair shop on Benton Road. Detectives also seized Blue's vehicle and recovered dozens of items inside it that are believed to have been taken in burglaries at Landers Dodge and in other recent vehicle burglaries, too.  Among the items recovered:  men's wedding bands, two Rolex watches, gift cards, and GPD navigation devices.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and say that other charges may be filed against blue as well.
