LSU Wins Big, But Coach O Impersonations Stole the Show
LSU blanks BYU 27-0 in the Superdome in New Orleans to start its season off 1-0.
Near the end of the game, ESPN aired a compilation of college football head coaches impersonating Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron, which was TV gold.
Another great one came from sideline reporter Allison Williams as she was standing just a few feet away from Coach O during the game.
Back to the game, Derrius Guice rushed for 120 yards and two TD's and the Tigers defense was just too stout for BYU. The Cougars offense never crossed midfield. After the game, there was some self evaluation from the Tigers.
"We had some miscues down on the goal line but a lot of it is just some first-game stuff," quarterback Danny Etling said. "It's good to get it out of the way. You want to cut down on those mistakes, but all in all I thought it was a pretty good night."
Next up for the Tigers: Chattanooga comes to Tiger Stadium Saturday night for a 6:30 PM kickoff.
