LSU Vs Florida Canceled This Week Due To COVID-19 Outbreak
LSU's football game with Florida scheduled for this weekend has been canceled due to an outbreak of COVID-19 inside the Florida program. The game will now be played on December 12th in Gainseville.
LSU has said the cancelation of this weekend's game is due to the positive tests in the Florida program, as well as the SEC's COVID management plan.
The news comes just a day after Florida suspended all football activities due to COVID-19 tests. So far Florida's program has more than 20 positive tests among football programs members. That includes players and staff, according to Florida Athletic Director Scott Strickland.
This now becomes the second SEC game to be pulled off this weekend's schedule, with Vanderbilt and Missouri already having their game canceled.
