Louisiana Singer Marc Broussard Hospitalized

Carencro native Marc Broussard took to social media Wednesday, posting a photo and giving worried fans a health update...from a hospital bed.

Broussard was admitted to a New England hospital for what is termed "a potential heart issue" on Wednesday afternoon.

The photo Broussard posted shows him wearing a hospital gown and COVID mask and giving a thumbs-up sign.

No information was given about what symptoms Broussard was experiencing, what tests were being conducted, or when he might be released.

Broussard's ability to perform at the remaining dates of this leg of tour, all east coast venues, will be determined by his doctors after assessing his condition.
