"How can you attack an election in cyberspace, if you're not in cyberspace?" That's what Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler told 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty before the Presidential election last November, when rumors of "Russian hackers" were already being bandied about.

Despite recent NSA revelations that foreign hackers may have tried to break into "election related systems", Schedler points out that "there is no state in this country that allows voting on the internet, with two exceptions."
