The Advocate is reporting that Mckinley High School quarterback Bryant Lee (18) was fatally shot in the head when gunfire erupted at a graduation party in Baton Rouge Saturday night.  Lee was one of 3 people shot around 2 am.  The other victims suffered minor injuries.

Bryant was a good student, and was set to graduate on Wednesday with a 3.5 GPA.  By all accounts, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  To make this story even sadder, this is the second time Mr. Lee has been shot in the last year.  In November, he was injured in a drive by shooting.  In that incident, he caught a stray bullet to the leg.

McKinley football coach Ken Hilton said Bryant was a good kid who always tried to do the right thing.  According to Hilton:

This was not a young man who was in and out of trouble or some gang thing," Hilton said. "It was a kid who in my eyes was a good kid. Everything he said was 'no, sir' or 'yes, sir' and shook your hand.”
