Local Pastor Holding Education Town Hall

Bishop Larry Brandon of Shreveport's Praise Temple talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the education town hall meeting to be held Tuesday evening at his church on Greenwood Road.

The meeting, which will include Caddo Parish School Superintendent Dr. Lamar Goree and some school board members as guests, will focus on "the future of the educational system...to brief the entire community and we want everyone involved."

The forum will begin at 6pm at Brandon's Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral at 4725 Greenwood Road in Shreveport. In addition to Dr. Goree bringing those in attendance up to date on the latest changes in schools, both in Caddo and statewide, there will also be a question and answer period with Goree and board members.
