A much-publicized local murder that occurred nearly 11 years ago will be the subject of a national television program this week. It was June 6th, 2001, that Vol "Bubba" Dooley III was shot to death in his Bossier Parish home. But it wasn't until nine days later that his body was finally found -- covered by dirt, brush, and pine needles in a makeshift grave in the woods just off Louisiana Highway 2 -- about three miles east of Louisiana Highway 1. Bossier Sheriff's Deputies arrested Dooley's wife, Jocelyn, and she was later tried and convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. That story has now made its way to national television. It will be shown at 9 tomorrow night on the Investigation Discovery Channel as part of a new series called "Sins and Secrets." You can catch that on DirecTV Channel 285, Suddenlink Channel 104 and ComCast Cable Channel 111.
