Adrian Little's attempt to have his life sentence reduced was rejected by the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. Little killed a Bossier late night gas station clerk during a robbery in 2013. Little argued that his sentence was too harsh because the court didn't take into account his low IQ and mental deficiency. Little claims his mental capacity is that of a 9 year old.

The court shot down the motion saying that the nature of the cold and senseless murder out weighs any argument for leniency that Little could make.
