Yes – Texas Cops Can Enter Your Home Without A Warrant
Unless they have a warrant, you can deny police entry to your home and you can totally tell them to leave your property. Sometimes they don't need the warrant though ...
If you want the Po-Po off your property in Texas, (or any other state), all you have to do is, (politely), tell them to split. Unless they're aware of a crime being committed, about to be committed or they're actually arresting someone; they have to leave.
You also have the right to order them out of, or deny them entry into, your house. They can come in with a warrant of course but there are situations where they don't have to have one.
Everybody knows police need a reason to enter your home or be on your property and that's across the board, not just in Texas. In some cases though, they can stay or go anywhere they want, sans warrant. These are called "exigent circumstances".
If cops feel someone is about to be injured, is destroying evidence or otherwise in danger, they can let themselves in. If they think the house is on fire, being robbed or property is being damaged and/or destroyed, they can come in to look around. You know, that kind of stuff.
"Hot Pursuit" is another one. If they are chasing someone and that person enters a home, they can follow them into that home. So, if your friends are trouble makers on the run, tell them to stay the hell away from your house.
