Lafayette, LA (KMDL) - Louisiana's most famous alligator hunter, Swamp People star Troy Landry got the shock of his life when he and fellow Swamp People star Pickle shockingly discovered human remains while filming an episode of "Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry".

Swamp People star and Louisiana's own Troy Landry is currently filming one of his other shows for HISTORY called "Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry" along with Pickle, another cast member from Swamp People.

While recently filming an episode of the show, Landry and Pickle were searching for evidence of a lost Native American civilization in the Louisiana swamp.

The archaeologist along for the show's adventure was shocked at how well the human bones had been preserved.
In an environment like Louisiana's swamps, the soil is acidic and usually breaks down organic material such as human bones.
Seems like these bones wanted to be found.
