Hulkamania Ran Wild in Louisiana: The Top 3 Hogan Bouts You Won’t Forget!
The world just recently lost one of the most influential pro-wrestlers of all time with the passing of Hulk Hogan. Hulkamania transcended time and space, even to this day, kids born after his retirement still look up to him as one of WWE's all-time greats. With a deep history of wrestling in Louisiana, we put together a list of the Hulkster's best matches that happened in the Bayou State.
When Hulkamania started to run wild, Louisiana was one of the earliest places to see Hulk Hogan once he hit his stride as the Hulkster in the 80s era. Most of the tim,e when Hulk Hogan did make it to the Bayou State, he was in New Orleans at the Superdome, not the Silverdome, as Hogan once said on TV by accident.
