Everyone knows that Louisiana is overflowing with world-renowned seafood, Creole, and Cajun cuisine restaurants. Most tourists immediately think of New Orleans anytime they hear about Louisiana food.

That is not to say that some of the best food on the planet doesn't come from the Cresent City—because it does! But Louisiana cuisine is delicious period. NUMBER 1 - THE CUB LOUNGE AND GRILLE - SHREVEPORT, LA

It was originally opened as a pharmacy and lunch counter in the 1950s and has never lost its nostalgia. They have the best burgers and shakes on the planet. This old-school dinner has been a staple of the community since then.

Back in the day, the aisles were filled with prescriptions and magazines. Today, you can't fill a prescription, but you can sure fill your tummy. The food was just as magnificent and there. Their shakes, filled with anything your heart desires, are legendary!

NUMBER 3 - CAJUN CRITTER SEAFOOD - HOUMA, LA

The food is like heaven! But the Bloody Mary is to die for. This place is worth a special trip down east. Stop by to get a bite. You'll be back. Order their roast beef po'boy with a side of gravy, fried flounder, and charbroiled Oysters. Nobody does them better!
