East Texas Burn Run Returns to Jefferson Texas Oct. 9-11
Next weekend, Jefferson, Texas will once again become "Sturgis South"!

From next Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, the Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club & Phoenix Organization of Jefferson will host the 2026 East Texas Burn Run.
East Texas Burn Run Raises Funds For Camp I'm Still Me
Though the event promises some incredible entertainment for bikers and those who only dream of riding the open road, the most important mission of the event is that it supports child burn victims by helping fund “Camp I’m Still Me".
Camp I'm Still Me is a free summer camp for children aged 5-17 who have sustained burn injuries. It was founded in 1992 by burn specialist Dr. Kevin Sittig and is held annually in Scottsville, Texas.

Campers participate in various activities such as games, crafts, swimming, and fishing. The camp also offers emotional healing and the formation of lasting bonds with other burn survivors. It is staffed by a variety of healthcare professionals and firefighters.
