As a "football Mom", Callie's toughness is only exceeded by her commitment to the other kids and families with whom she spends those countless hours and days.

Reading Callie's nomination letter from her friend, Kelly Fultz, it was obvious that she was the absolute best choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Callie is a one of kind person. To know her is to love her. She came into my life 6 years ago when our boys started playing football together. At first, I wasn't sure about this momma who was always yelling "You better hit somebody son" at football practices. But once I got to know her, I quickly realized that this is the type of friend that everyone wishes they had. She is one that helps anyone even when they think they don't need it. I broke my leg in 2022 and she was the first person to call and offer to help with my kids. She made sure my son got to and from football so he wasn't missing out. She has helped several people with fundraisers and such when they were having struggles or medical issues. She is the first one to offer rides to anyone who needs help getting to and from football. She also organizes all of our parties without asking for a dime from any of the other par ents. She advocates for all of our football boys. She pushes them to be better because she wants to see them succeed just as much as her own son. She helps everyone all the time even though she has 3 kids of her own to take care of. I can't say enough good things about Callie. I wish more people could be like her. This is why I think she deserves to be celebrated. She doesn't get enough recognition. Love you Callie and I am so glad that we are apart of this football family! Thank you for all you do for all of us!
