Hundreds Show Up To Claim Money from State Treasurer
Large crowd shows up at Mall St. Vincent to grab unclaimed money from State Treasurers Office.
The state has more than $750 million in unclaimed money, about 50 million of that should be in the hands of Shreveport Bossier residents. State Treasurer Ron Henson says the money comes from a variety of sources. It could be an old deposit, an insurance overpayment, leftover bank funds, and much more.
