How You Can Help Residents of the Bahamas
The world is coming to the rescue of thousands of residents of the Bahamas devastated by Hurricane Dorian. The island was hit by the Category 5 hurricane on Sunday. The storm stalled over the island for two days.
Nonprofit agencies are rushing in to help with emergency needs and humanitarian efforts.

The Red Cross has hundreds of volunteers in the region supplying shelter, food, water, medicine and communications. These are the biggest needs right now and the best way to get these items into the region quickly is to make a monetary donation to the Red Cross the the Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.

Yacht Aid Global has set up “Operation Topaz” to bring emergency supplies like food, tarps, hygiene kits and medicine to Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands. The organization works with yachts in the region to coordinate support.
