How Much Do Americans Spend For Mom On Mother’s Day? [VIDEO]

Rosenstrauch tells KEEL listeners that Americans' Mother's Day spending habits have changed: "Since 2009, Americans are spending 61% more on moms. 86% of people will buy gifts for their mother and 69% will spend money on flowers, totaling $2.6 billion."
Rosenstrauch adds that, according to a National Retail Federation survey, Mother's Day spending will spend a total of $23.6 billion, with people between the ages of 35 to 44 spending the most, an average of $224.
