A big food drive kicks off Sunday...to help a Parkway High School student complete her senior project. But Winnie Sanders says she's been collecting items for local seniors and homeless folks since January, and she's gotten about 1,000 so far. She's looking for non-perishable food items, toiletries, backpacks and can openers -- with a goal of 5,000 items. Those will be distributed in care boxes early next month. Anyone wishing to make a donation just needs to email humblehandsfoodpantry@yahoo.com. You can also call 318-286-7604 to make pick-up arrangements.
