The cleanup continues again today for residents in southwest Caddo Parish which was devastated by a tornado this week.

More than 30 homes were destroyed or damaged by this storm. A mother and her 8-year-old son were killed when the storm roared through.

If you want to help folks impacted during this tragedy, you can do so through several local organizations who are working to help the families pick up the pieces.

Here's the message from Jamie Little,  the husband of Yoshiko Smith and the father of 8-year old Nikolus Little who died in the storm.

My family was killed in the tornado that touched down in Keithville, LA. Yoshiko was a the love of my life. She was a goofy mother figure quick to help and show compassion. She was willing to put things on hold to benefit the entirety of the family; even homeschooling my son. Truly irreplaceable and she will be missed more than you know.
My son Shiloh was my boy. He was bright and charming. Very respectful and made friends easily. His death truly put a scar on my heart that won't be healed.
I ask you all to please help me put my families bodies to rest. They deserve a decent burial with friends and family remembering their good deeds on earth. Sadly I can't give them this. I pray we can make this happen.
Little is trying to raise $25,000 to pay for the funerals and he thanks the community for all the love and support shown to him during this devastating time.
