Free McDonald’s Breakfast this Week for Some Louisiana Workers
We all know how stressful this past year has been and school workers have been among the most stressed out. Now, McDonald's wants to say thanks. Each morning this week, the fast food chain is giving out free breakfasts to teachers and educators.
In a news release, the corporate giant says:
Teachers and educators inspire and champion the next generation, and over the last year, they have truly stepped up to support their communities, both inside and outside the classroom. McDonald’s is making school day mornings a little brighter for educators and showing our appreciation with a free breakfast Thank You Meal.
McDonald's President Joe Erlinger says:
Together with our Owner/Operators, we're proud to serve the people who make our communities a better place, and this is an important time to say thank you to some of our everyday heroes.
Last year McDonald's gave away 12 million free meals to first responders and healthcare workers and now the company wants to include teachers.
This program includes all educators: teachers, administrators and school staff. To get your free meal, stop by local participating McDonald’s during breakfast hours from Oct. 11-15 and show a valid work ID for a free breakfast. The meals will be served in the Happy Meal boxes, but instead of a toy, you'll get a thank you note.
You will get a breakfast sandwich, hash browns and a beverage. You can choose an egg McMuffin, a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit or a sausage biscuit. Your drink options include coffee or a medium drink.
Thank You Meals offered at participating US McDonald’s 10/11/21 through 10/15/21. Valid ID required. Limit one per person per day. Menu options may vary by restaurant. Visit McDonalds.com for more details.
