The long wait for a medical marijuana clinic in Bossier City is finally over.  According to U.S. News and World Report, today in Bossier City, a brand new marijuana health clinic is opening it's doors in order to see patients that have struggled finding relief with traditional medicines.  Total Health Clinic (THC), 2310 Riverwood Dr., will start serving patients that suffer from one or more of the 14 approved and recognized conditions today with recommendations (Doctors can't write a prescription for cannabis-derived pills, liquids, and sprays).  Those recommended medicines will have to filled at an authorized pharmacy.  Even though the medicines should be ready by November of this year, the area's first approved dispensary is reportedly set to open in January.

The clinic's website says that they are ready to recommend "Non-addicting medicine," to residents that suffer from maladies ranging from Multiple Sclerosis to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Parkinson's Disease, Glacoma, and 9 other conditions recognized as treatable with marijuana based products by the state.

An initial visit with Louisiana state board certified physician Dr. Chad Rossitter and / or his staff of 6 doctors will cost $249.  The clinic's website also advertises a 20% discount for all veterans and law enforcement.
