FBI Apprehends Woman Making Threats Against LSUS Teachers
A local woman has been apprehended by the FBI after she took to YouTube to threaten teachers at LSUS and LSU President F. King Alexander. The school was planning to have extra security and limited access to campus today due to the threats, but those plans have been canceled.
The woman reportedly is a former student who recently got out of jail. Officials say the woman has threatened teachers at LSUS in the past. Local authorities and the FBI were contacted by several people about the online rants. The suspect has yet to be named by authorities.
The University will have an open forum today (Monday February 19th) at 11 am to discuss the incident.
