Big Events in Downtown Shreveport This Weekend Start Your Holiday Season
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving is the official start of the Christmas shopping season. You probably know about Cyber Monday, the Monday following Black Friday, but do you know this Saturday is Small Business Saturday?
Several major chains including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, PetSmart, and the Home Depot, to name a few, have announced they will be closing on Thanksgiving Day, and I think that is a wonderful idea. (But it is probably going to add a little more fuel to the Black Friday fire.)
So before you map out your Black Friday shopping, you might want to save a little for Small Business Saturday. And there will be a lot going on in downtown Shreveport to make your planning worth while, including shopping, specials, food, and fireworks.
