Downtown Shreveport Fight Leads to Arrest of Two Men
SHREVEPORT, LA- Two men arrested following an altercation in Downtown Shreveport
In the early hours of March 7, at approximately 1 a.m., officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a call regarding a physical altercation in the 200 block of Commerce Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an employee of a local nightclub had been involved in a confrontation with multiple patrons.
During the altercation, the employee was struck with a bottle, resulting in minor injuries. In response to the incident, Shreveport patrol officers responded to a fight call, and apprehended two suspects involved in the altercation.
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 27-year-old Christopher Higginbotham and 28-year-old River Johnson, both charged with one count of second-degree battery.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
